  Loki       small Shepherd / (Mix)
male Age: baby
Stray Atlanta Shelter ID: Loki Lap ID: 2929651
Click here to see a better picture of me! Loki is a sweet shepherd mix who was caught 3 weeks after his sister in early October covered in fleas and very hungry. He is about 3 months old. He is really shy but is coming out of his shell very fast playing hard with his sister. He loves rawhides and his comfy corners. He can be a totally chill pup lying on the couch as well as very playful, pouncing on his sister. As his belly gets full he is learning to wag his tail more. He would do best in a house with another dog so that he can learn to really trust human beings. This is a very very sweet boy with golden soft fur who will be about 40-45lbs.

  Dylan       medium Cockapoo / (Pure)
male Age: young
Pets To Be, Inc. Shelter ID: Lap ID: 4359478
Click here to see a better picture of me! Dylan is going to need a family that will be patient with him and allow him to come out of his shell. He was ignored by his former family, so he has to learn to trust you before he's comfortable being in your company. All of our Pets to Be are current with all vaccinations, heartworm preventative, and altered. As of May 1, 2006, all of our animals are micro-chipped and registered.

Visit www.petstobe.org for more pictures, a more detailed description, adoption information, meet and greet schedule, and application!

  Brinks       medium Coonhound / (Mix)
male Age: adult
Our Pals Place, Inc. Shelter ID: Lap ID: 1825510
Click here to see a better picture of me! A good Samaritan found Brinks during a two day hike on the Appalachian Trail in North Carolina: “I was approached by three ladies who asked me if I had lost a dog. They then said that a thru-hiker headed north had tied a dog to a tree at Deep Gap with a note stating that the dog had taken up with him the night before at Muskrat Creek Shelter. He said that he could not care for the dog and urged someone to take the dog to the authorities. When I arrived at Deep Gap the dog was there tied to the tree with the note. His water pail was turned over and there were a few tortilla shells on the ground. The dog had no collar and was extremely weak. I offered him water and he refused. I then cut him loose and lifted him into the car. I left a note on the tree stating I had taken the dog.” This good Samaritan came to OPP for help. Though we typically work with county shelters, we could not turn our back on this gentleman and a dog who needed help. Brinks' pads on his front paws are worn off and have open sores, and he is very thin. This gentle soul deserves help and a good home, and OPP will give him that until we find his forever home! Brinks is good with other dogs and children and is in the process of being house-trained. Come by and meet Brinks!
